Day 16. Over the hump.

I think something that I have written is almost ready to posted. I set the intention when I answered the question... "what does marriage mean to me?" that it will be written when it is ready to be written. So, I wrote something up a few days after the question was asked and I said a prayer that this or something else will answer this question for me. I think the one I have already written is the one. The question has answered itself in many ways.

I thought of my mom and dad a lot today and the example that they have set for me in the most wondrous of ways. Anyways, I think this is a piece to the marriage puzzle. A big piece. I want what they had. They were both such beautiful people. I still, sometimes, can't believe how amazing they both looked and the people that they are.

I'm tapping into something big! =)

Day 15!

Me and the little ones. We are shifting! I am getting excited for William to start school! I hope and pray that he gets into the school I love. We will know by the end of April/May. How sweet is this picture? We sat outside for a while today. I felt like I just needed to rest. I am also cleaning and organizing the house. We got a new fridge! Woohoo. Our first brand new fridge together. Haha. I love the little things. I am going through an online course right now on manifesting and I am trying to up level all of my limiting beliefs. I definitely feel like this is happening and is not for the weary. I just want peace and love in my life. Anyways, here is my little tribe minus Nick.

Day 15. HALF WAY!

Day 14

Almost half way there! This has been a fun project for me. I may keep up with it in the future. This picture was taken at the birthday party that we went to. It was a fun day. I am tired today. A million things to do around the house and of course, Nick is on the mend. One day at a time. BREATHE.

Day 13 of 30.

Lucky ol' number 13. I didn't have the greatest day today. Nick was in a small moped accident. I printed William's school application. My family leaves tomorrow =( Not my favorite day, but that's ok. I have a lot on my mind. I feel like I am going to miss William so much when he goes to school. I know that sounds so silly. Part of me wants to just keep him home, but then another part of me wants him to go experience the goodness and the fun in the world. I remember missing my mom in school, but ultimately, loving it. I loved the crayons and the kids and the feeling of learning and creating things. School was really pretty awesome for me. I had some great teachers, who I LOVED at the time.

I am trying to find the bright side in all this and it does help me on my quest right now... what is love? Missing someone when they are gone. =)

Day 12 of 30 Day Challenge!

In front of Nick's mural at his shop. Him and Jack did this and I think it came out soo great! It's one of my favorites that he has done with the black back drop and bright, colorful letters! He has been getting good business recently for his graffiti work.

Today was a good day. We went to a birthday party and the boys got to run around and play and have a great day. They got to see all their little friends!

Day 11! Lucky # 11

So, I am cheating a little bit on today's post. It is not necessarily from today, but from a wedding we attended a few weeks ago. I am finally seeing the pictures that we took. We took a couple of really great photos this night. Some of my faves to date. I will show you them later! They involve yummy, yummy kisses. =) Nick's mom took this one before we went out. Also, I had set the intention that this wedding (our first together), was going to be when I got to post here... the "yay! we made it." As promised. So, here it is. I felt like a goddess in this coral colored pantsuit from Venus! Scarf was gifted from my bro. Gold beaded bracelet from Nat's travels to India. (I love that my little Na is in the picture too).

Day 11- We made it.

ps. I have been digging deep for answers on our own wedding. I really want to be connected with why we are doing this and want this. I want the timing to be right for us, two crazy kids. I know it is. But, my heart and my mind have to be in this one together. I have been "dropping in" to my belly, my inner place of female wisdom. I feel like accessing this part of me is also kind of accessing my twelve year old self, in a way. And, today I asked "why? why do I want to marry him?" And you know what I heard? That I want a birthday for me and Nick. Sweetest thing ever.

Day 10 of 30/30.

Mom life! Lukey has been wanting no one but mommy recently! I don't mind too much except for he gets really heavy when he wants to be held! Other than that, he is just pretty attached to me at all times. I think good things are happening and I am confident in the direction Nick and I are going in, after a little talking last night. I am trying to be patient with the changes happening right now.  So, ya this isn't really an outfit pic but William seems to have gotten tired of being my photographer, so a pic of my current situation it is! =)
