Day 9 of 30/30.

Motherhood. As much love, warmth and protection as these arms can offer. I am frustrated today. Trying to really manifest the whole wedding thing and dig deep for answers that just aren't there right now. It's a difficult time for me and I just feel so disconnected from Nick over this whole thing. I feel angry with him and confused by him. My family is visiting from NC and I am so happy they are here right now, to take my mind off of all this for a little while. It was nice to laugh and hear stories of days when I didn't feel like this. So, this picture is really perfect for today.

Day 8 of 30 Day Challenge.

Or my 30/30 challenge as I am starting to call it when I ask Nick to take pictures for it =) Here is us today. Rocking the sunnies my brother gave me for Christmas from Costa Del Mar!! They are my faves and they make everything look beautiful. I know my brother infused this gift with all the love that he has for me, which I know and feel is so, so much. Nick took the photo of me and the boys today on our way home from Boca Grande. It was a beautiful day and we saw four manatees. The water was definitely chilly, but felt so good to get in. My family is visiting, so it was nice to have them with us. A great day, had by all.

Day 7!

Day 7 of the challenge. It is a bit later then normal. We had actual company over for a fish fry! It has been so long since we had company! Ever since Michael and Emmaly moved away, I have felt like I didn't really have friends that I often see. Well, tonight we made friends and it was fun having all the little kids over! It was a nice day. Busy, but nice. My visit to Vicky was amazing. So much information. I loved it. Now is the time for positive change and positive actions. It's good though because I think I was able to pinpoint what has been wrong and it's just a lack of a social life and friendships. It was really good for me and Nick too! So, ya! It was a breakthrough for me. Now, on to the next chapter! Wearing here my Key West Strong tank top and the black loose fitting pants from Beth. 

Day 7

Day 6 of 30 Day Challenge.

Hanging with the boys. Nick is out fishing. I couldn't get William to take my picture today, so I had to do a "selfie" =) At least I got blankie in there. I love my leggings and my shoes! The leggings are my Lula Roe's that I showed on day 1 =) And shoes are my silver birks. Excited for Summer and to wear them again! The boys spent the day at the beach today, so naturally, I am jelly! Now, bath time for babies! Tomorrow, treatment with Vicky Shaw! Thank Goodness. Maybe, my insides will stop feeling like they are being rung out. ouch. :/

Day 5 of 30 Day Challenge.

Nick went out and caught bait fish at White Street Pier! He will use these to catch Snapper! We didn't get to go because we stayed home and napped after the boys had a big day at the Spring Fair with Nanny and Pepop. They had a blast. Lucas told me his favorite part was popcorn. William loved the Easter egg hunt. 🐣

I'm wearing the world's most comfortable sweater from Banana Republic. My shirt (super cute) has little gold, metallic hearts on it from the Gap. And my pants are comfy, cotton, loose fitting pants from Beth =)

Day 5

Day 4 of 30 Day Challenge.

So, I have noticed that one thing this blog is helping me with is to notice patterns in my life. However, everything is about to shift for the better! I will be home 5 days a week with the boys and just hoping for some good, quality time together. Here is me and Lucas tonight at Higgs Beach, one of our favorite spots to sit and watch the sunset, let Jax run around and look at the fishes! Tonight, we even popped over to the park for a quick ride on the swings. Great evening with my loves.

Teal tank top is from Walmart, shorts are gifted from my friend, Beth. They are some of my faves and so cute and comfy. She knows my taste! And, you can't quite see it, but I am wearing the new Made By Soto Forever bracelet! I don't have any charms yet, but I will. It's so lightweight and perfect.
